Watch. The Leafs will come out trying to play the Bruins style and get called for everything.

NHL Playoff Officiating is basically an umpire testing a new strike zone out for every at bat.

- markmark

The Leafs would have been able to play their own game if they had a couple guys that could calm down these guys. DeBrusk is 20. The very fact he feels emboldened to run around like he has is a huge problem for the Leafs. No one respects or fears Toronto at all.

He will be the best offensive player on the Leafs. And will be decent in his own end.
- Santo_44

given who he'll be playing with and the amount of ice time he'll probably get compared to tavares, marner, and matthews that's going to be difficult

With Marleau and Brown as his wingers you can drop the word 'almost'!
- Monkeypunk

I dont know why they wouldnt move up Moore, I feel like they could use Brown on the 4th line.

This is a good point.

Everybody knows the game changes in the playoffs. People can either cry about it or learn how to play that game.

Dubas is partly at fault here for not getting at least one or two guys that can make a "playoff" difference and the trickle down effect of that is that a guy like Kadri is somewhat forced to take matters into his own hands which leads to a stupid suspension. Twice.

The Bruins, on the other hand, have some "rats" on their team backed up by a bunch of guys who can back it up. And it certainly works against the Leafs.

There's a difference between north and south?

I've never met a sober Bostonian that didn't try to pinch my wallet

- walshyleafsfan

Soooooo....

Boston is a city of neighbourhoods. And at one time (not so long ago), Boston was notorious for what they called "red-lining" - where real estate agents wouldn't show you houses in areas where you weren't "one of them."

North End is very Italian.

Beacon Hill is very snooty.

South Boston (a.k.a. Southie) is staunchly Irish-Catholic. Think Marky Mark.

Exactly. And the prices were low this year for once. Simmonds would not be allowing Marchand to face wash and disrespect Matthews I'll tell you that much. And with Jacobs the Bruins get away with even more than normal playoff teams. Where was Shanny? He knows this poop.

Nah. That's a bad argument.

Simmonds hasn't done much and he's injured. He's the right type of guy but probably past his prime.

Can someone please post the GIF of Colton Orr standing over Parros after the KO?

Will help to explain Kadri’s punishment

Sure. Elbow to head causing blood. No call. One handed hook, call. This is not the first time Boston got special treatment.

Matthews makes a lot of small plays that go unnoticed by fans. As for production it would be nice if someone on his line could hit him with a decent pass.
He’s a sniper but he has to do it all himself. Doesn’t get many open looks.

No suspension yet?

Maybe he gets to play before they make up their minds
