If we're going to allow teams to add players for the playoffs, let's go hog wild.

It would allow teams to fight for the playoffs but also get something if they end up failing to make it and helps make playoff hockey even better (for a price).

That's what I've heard. No suspension. Hearing they've organized Bob Cole to do the play by play so when he keeps saying it's teh Bozek instead of Kadri, the hope is no one notices.

I don't know for sure the rules but if your player gets suspended the team should lose the cap space too but I don't think they do.

Matthews makes a lot of small plays that go unnoticed by fans. As for production it would be nice if someone on his line could hit him with a decent pass.
He’s a sniper but he has to do it all himself. Doesn’t get many open looks.

I'm pretty sure they both signed yesterday and today.

Makar isn't allowed to play in the NCAA with an NHL ELC so he definitely didn't have one until today.

Gusev signed after his KHL playoff run was done.

Although the league will never admit it. I think officials have already been shown the game tapes and have been told not to let games get out of hand anymore.
That was horrible officiating and it wouldn’t go unnoticed.

I have zero faith at this point that the NHL will allow the game to be called properly, according to the rules.

Which is bullpoop because there's no excuse why the Leafs powerplay isn't better.

It can be expected that the Leafs suck on defense or that they play soft but their PP should be reliably very good.
