I sure hope so.
I hope Babs treated this home game as a road game and has the team locked up in a hotel room.
but I think Boston takes this game in OT. - dmnted
No way, the only thing Boston is gonna take is it, up the butt. |

The double assumption!
What's interesting about the Tampa Bay and Columbus series is that most people wrote off the Blue Jackets before the series started and they're up 3-0. Now, most people are writing off the Lightning, even though if there's a team capable of winning 4 in a row, it's probably them.
For the sake of entertainment, I hope all these series go 7. |

I agree with you. Tampa is a scary team and one of the toughest teams to beat is a desperate one. |

Then Krug should keep his head up and the forwards be extra hard on him when forechecking him. Hammer him. - As_I_See_It
Yeah I mean he’s putting himself into this situation.
The problem is symptoms don’t show for the first 2-3 days usually. It’s a risky call on his part, definitely looked bad.
Hope he’s okay but I hope it’s his decision and not the doctors saying he’s good to go. |

I think the refs in tonight's game will be heavy on the whistle for both teams.

Hedman has been playing hurt (or not playing) and he was bad when he did play probably because of the injury he's dealing with.
Vasilevskiy has been playing really weird too. Half a dozen goals have gone over his shoulder while he's squatting in some stupid position.
Columbus may have played their best games but Tampa Bay hasn't even come close to their potential yet. |

This has nothing to do with the Leafs but isn't it kind of bullpoop that the Avalanche can bring in Makar and the Golden Knights can bring in Gusev after the 1st round has started?
As it stands now, it's legal, I'm not disputing that. But should it be?
Alternatively, maybe the trade deadline should be extended to the day before the 1st playoff game is played.
If we're going to allow teams to add players for the playoffs, let's go hog wild.
It would allow teams to fight for the playoffs but also get something if they end up failing to make it and helps make playoff hockey even better (for a price). - JohnFergusonJr
How is it any different that bringing guys up from the minors when it's required? |

Wow. So does Kadri “get off light” if it’s a 5 game series and “get what he deserved” if it’s 7?
This punishment to me feels like an acknowledgement by DoPS that Debrusk and the Bruins were being rats throwing dirty poop all game. So they’re saying you’re out against them because this was clearly a blood feud and the Bs aren’t innocent. |

What is up with Sportsnet?
First we have that Spector guy trolling Leaf fans, then we have Kypreos against the Leafs now we have John Shannon on NESN bad mouthing the Leafs and sucking up to Bruin fans.
The Leafs ownership employs these guys, grow a spine and show them the door. |

Because they're actually signed already before the playoffs start.
It just seems weird that these teams are getting legit reinforcements after the 1st round has already started.
But like I said, extend the trade deadline to before the playoffs start and let's see some real reinforcements! |

Kadri deserved that suspension.
Anyone know if DeBrusk has started feeling better in the last few hours? Less headaches, less light sensitivity? |

Hey, remember when Marchand cross-checked McDonald, who was lying on the ice, right in the face? Remember how there was zero suspension even regular season games as this happened in early April last year? Meanwhile Kadri gets possibly 5 playoff games. Don't worry, Boston doesn't get special treatment, nothing to see here...
