wherever he ends up, that team will regret it.

Karlsson foot speed and overall skating has diminished over the last several years. While I think it was a massive mistake to not get a deal done, he most likely will not equal what he has done in his career to date. The injuries have caught up to him and continue to plague his seasons. He missed significant time with a groin injury that obviously isn’t fully healed, but will play in the playoffs anyway.

If hes given a max year max dollar deal than I agree. I still think he has a lot to offer for the right price. Id like to see a few more playoff games from him this year before I completely write him off.

I think any team that signs him to more than 6 or 7 million will regret it. which we all know he will sign for more than, he's flat out said he's looking for as much as he can get. So yes, I think any team signing him will regret it.

He was never the same after that fist Achilles tear. His foot speed blue line to blue line was ridiculous. He was still a great skater after that, but now like you say, it's becoming more and more of a wear on him. People have said this about star players before though, so who knows, he could bounce back.

He played a huge role in Ottawa beating Boston in the playoffs in 2016-2017. What he does in San Jose is of no consequence to us now.

I was thinking 8 x 13
1st 4 years pay him 16
Next 2 pay 13
Last 2 pay 7

Thats what i meant by front loaded. Its all fantasy anyway now.
