Love the TLC line, but it would have been a 1-0 loss without Scheif taking over the game.

TLC line was completely dominant and fun to watch! Laine is an absolute BEAST out there; carrying his line. Buff is zoned in and the defense overall was solid and consistent.

We weathered the early and expected storm from the Blues, solid tending from Bucky got them through it and this was by far his best effort since the Preds series last year. He looked calm, steady and fundamentally sound all night.

55 was non-existent through 2-periods and then he asserted his will and was awesome in the 3rd! Kyle 'effin' Connor came up huge; leading the breakout and then skating his ass off to catch up to the play on both goals and of course the sweet sauce over to 55 for the tie.

Concerns:
Ehlers set up Litz twice in front of then net and he fanned on both attempts (wide open); so frustrating.

Faceoffs - yes the Blues are one of the best, but we gotta figure out a way to tie up the draws then (play the stick not the puck).

Frenchy - dumb penalty after dumb penalty over the last few weeks; he needs to be taken out of the line-up for Game 5. He is providing no value to the team what-so-sever right now; he's killing us. Put Par in on the 4th line - he showed well in his opportunities and it's another centre in the line-up which never hurts.

Go Jets Go!

I think Ehlers needs to get selfish and start shooting more. I think that once he scores, the floodgates are going to open.

Jets have outplayed the Blues in this series and are clearly the better team. If not for Binnington this would be unbearable. Jets deserve to move on unless this tired Blues team somehow digs deep and reverses the trend.

Laine has turned into a playoff beast! He was my favourite Jet last nite, laying the body where ever he could. After the regular season, I thought he had hurt his next contract value. But, Laine for his credit, accepted my constructive criticism during the regular season and I think he has salvaged his next contract. I absolutely get a real charge when he is laying out the hits.

Great team effort by all the team. I felt that if they could weather the storm for the first 10 minutes, then they could pour it on later. Best tending game by Helle so far.

For anyone that didn’t watch, it was a very entertaining game.

Great game from Laine last night. winning puck battles, skating hard and bone crushing hits, the hit on Perron comes to mind. Little struggled, I liked Ehlers game.

Perreault was not the player we need him to be - french jesus is still in there somewhere - right? Roslovic and Hayes were good. Hayes is a good stickhandler, protects the puck so well.

TLC was good as usual. Copp shows more individual game when playing away from this line and I think Lowry has more to show in this series also.

I would like to see if Kulikov can play wing. He skates well, likes to crash and bang, isn't afraid of the front of the net and I have given up on the upside of his defense game. I think he is what he is... a playable 3rd pair option.

Buff and Chiarot came to play, Trouba was outstanding and Morrissey was excellent. I cringed for a moment when JoMo put his shoulder into a heavy collision on the near boards - he got the best of it and seemed fine.

Agree that Perreault needs to sit - put Lindholm or Appleton in his spot.

He has retreated to the hills of Afganistan to search out and gather random bits of facts to be synthesized for an assault intended to discredit Maurice, Myers, Kulikov, Chiarot and Little while diminishing the accomplishments of Connor, Chevy, Wheeler and Tanev. Said assault will support any shortcoming in the games of Laine and Perreault. Said facts will willfully overlook conflicting evidence.

Attack is set to be launched within 48hrs in event of a Jets series loss. As this is a highly probable statistical outcome (as it is for all professional sports organizations) the assault can be reasonably predicted to occur at some point this spring. Any worthwhile thoughts that he may have are wholly consumed by drivel. There is no negotiating or option for compromise.

No sarcasm. For all the controversy that Rexypoo brings up, I do enjoy having contrary views expressed. Makes the board more lively.

BTW....being the tense nailbiter of a game as it was last night , I went through a total of four glasses of Laphroaig. Since I seemed to be empty after each period there was no way I was going to throw in the towel for overtime. Decent hangover this morning.....but worth it ! The crazy superstitious stuff I/we do !

Laphroaig now has a 2-0 record. Not stopping now although I might end up being an alcoholic if the Jets get to the final party.

For gawd's sake, keep buying that Laphroaig! Whatever works! Thinking my rum and cokes or ceasars are cheaper - and better tasting though - and working.

Team is playing with intensity which breeds wins!

I am all for contrary views, its just way too much fabrication, denying past statements, and mis-application of what might be useful information. Overall it takes away from intelligent conversation about the Jets.

I can agree with this one as well.

Rexy, please come back!

My advance stat enlightenment was all thanks to Rexy so I could better argue with him. Now he is gone

We all thank your liver for the hard work! Keep it up!

I started with Sapporo beer last night and finished with Budweiser. Needless to say, I was not very focused today.
