This game isn't a gimme as the Blues are playing great hockey with a hot goalie. All 4 lines have to contribute tonight and not let the Blues play most of the game in the Jets zone in order to win.

I'm looking for one main thing...Connor Hellebucyk playing as well as he did in game 3. If he can do that then I am confident that the Jets will take care of the rest.

Go Jets !

I’m cautiously optimistic Pete.

If our goaltending holds up and our young guns contribute...we should be fine (he says with a gulp)

I agree with Jetsnation, we need Bucky to be on tonight. The other key is pressure & throwing everything at the net with lots of traffic.

It's all about intensity in my world - the team that wants it most will prevail.

I'm thinking Laphroaig! Thinking the Jets will come out with desperation!

4 minute power play and literally no sense of urgency. That was putrid.

No words !

Actually just one thing. I commented to my son that the Jets just lacked that killer instinct passion in the third period and they can't just sit back on a lead. It was pretty obvious that the Blues had fire in their eyes.

That one hurt. This series reminds me of all the 1980’s playoffs heartbreaks.
The only consolation in all of this is that this young team gains valuable experience from such a hard fought series.

The pathetic 4 minute power play was the turning point. Wheeler, Buff and 3 statues on the ice.

Last night's game reminded me of when Boston came back against Toronto a few years back. I don't see how the Jets come back from this.

In the first two periods, Maurice did a good job of rolling the lines, but like classic Maurice he decides to go back to his old ways in the third. I think it's safe to say that Hayes looked dangerous all night and yet he only got 9:39 of ice time. I know Connor is a great player but having him play 22:22 and be on for most of the third period is asking for trouble.

That top line looked completely fatigued in the last 30 seconds. Maurice is terrible at bench management. It's also no surprise why this team gives up so many leads in the third. Maurice just plays the same guys over and over again.

I thought the turning point was when that puck that would have crossed the line making it 3-0 Jets , somehow got hooked back by accident on the second touch. It gave the Blues life. Just so many small breaks in this series that determined outcomes. Two very evenly matched teams.

When you look forward , even if the Jets can pull out this series. Its then Nashville or Dallas then probably Vegas and then a very good Eastern team in the finals. Its no easy road for a team that will have to now play seven games to even advance.

This series has been a nail biter. Both teams seemingly even matched. Thought from the beginning this would go to 7. Hopefully not now that the Blues have a chance to clinch it in 6....... But at home.....

I predicted the Avs would take out the Flames in 7 if they got good goal tending. Well, they got good tending and finished the Flames in 5.

I predicted the Jets in 6, so I am wrong so far but I wll add a game, Jets in 7.

Over/Under Scheifele and Wheeler will play 23 minutes each tonight.
