The Phantoms forward crop could be pretty deep this year. A little soft on the back end but they would have a great tamden between the pipes for sure.

Rat is putting up some points with those soft hands. Hopping he learns how to use that big body to be a little more physical. At 6’6” he is a giant out on the ice.

No way I come back if I were Gordon. He did a good job with a bunch of guy's who quit during alot of games. He wasn't even given a real sniff for the job where he should of. Sure he'll be on someone's NHL staff at least

I agree on the forwards for the phantoms but the softness of the D, For the Flyers and Phantoms, bothers me. I'd like to see them sign a veteran d man who can drop the gloves as well. Maybe guy's like McQuaid

They are going to need some help on D down there for sure. The D youth at the NHL level is crazy. So the Flyers are not that thin as a program as the AHL would suggest but the phantoms need a little boost. If they don’t trade some one at the NHL there will be a quality player moving down.

He wants to head coach though. Not sure he gets a head coaching spot aT the big clubs. It would be nice to keep him in the Flyers’ system. It could be fun coaching those in coming talent at the AHL.

He absolutely should be canned over this Kate Smith debacle; no doubt.

I just have this feeling the veteran d man we add is spurgeon. There were talks of us discussing him at the deadline. Hes a fletcher guy and seemingly would be a good fit for vigneault system. Hayes is the center that seems writing on the wall-ish. He signed with vigneault in 2014 out of all teams. He multiple times referenced he enjoyed playing for him. All just seems to make too much sense. Kruger could be the bottom 6 guy. Good vet leader. Strong possession and PK-er.

I dont trade #11. If were building this team right itll be our last chance for a lottery pick for a while. You take the pick to add another high end prospect to the system. Because at some point like all good teams do someone will want more than we can give them and we will need an ELC to replace him. We have 10 picks. Move a 2nd or later in a trade if you have to. We got Farabee at #14 and he looks like he could make the nhl next year at some point and contribute. We can definitely get a worthwhile player at 11.

Those songs are terrible and equality will allows trump some nostalgic sports bs. Calling for people to step down over this is pathetic.

You know how Philly sports fans always get a bad wrap? This is one issue that is so simple to actually be on the right side of.

You cant encourage racist behavior of course but she's been dead for a long time now and the song they are using has nothing to do with those songs in question. The other thing is where do you draw the line? Do you boycott everyone and everything that had done something wrong in the past? Many of the American "greats" owned slaves. Do you remove them from the history books? Do you remove them from the paper bills? Do we boycott the friends and family of someone who has done something wrong in their lives? My great Grandmother worked for the Nazis in Ukraine, should I be punished for that? This is all something Society has to ask themselves.

Comcast and the Flyers are just protecting their brand. When it comes to this kind of stuff, its best to get ahead of it and avoid and controversy. I feel as if they are fighting racism with racism. There now appears to be a double standard. Look at Russel Peters the comedian. The guy is hilarious however do you really believe a white guy would get away with what he says during his routines?

Spurgeon is an excellent defender. Highly under rated while constantly taking on heavy defensive assignments and regularly facing other teams top lineups. Hes also right handed fairly young and on a good contract and he would likely be cheaper than a lot the big names. I also didnt propose giving up any our core young d for him. Hes a better defenseman and fit in my opinion than someone like trouba

Didn't like the way he and Scott handled the hextall or Hak firings. The fact that hex didn't see it coming and the org stated they wanted to go in a win now direction although they hired him to conduct a slow build through the draft seemed contradictory to me.

I respectfully disagree and thanks but I'm entitled to my opinion. Saying I'm not is whats pathetic really. Wish people could get over the fact that people might see things differently than they do.

The org is conveniently trying to erase a part of its history even though many including Clarke have stepped up to defend her. I find that it's pc gone wild and I think the org should have resisted calls to erase the orgs history. What's next? Remove allusions to the broad st bullies because many people are hurt by bullying? Will be interesting to see how they handle Clarke's voicing his displeasure.
