They punished the result and not the action. At most 2 minutes for crosschecking.

Tough loss for sure. But this team will come back even better next year.

Can't wait to see what Gusev brings, those first 3 lines are going to be stacked. I love what Engelland has done for this community but hopefully he walks off into the sunset and Hague takes his spot.

The 2nd worst game 7 penalty call I've ever seen. Disgusting. The ref will probably never work again.

Ah yes, excusing an awful call with that old deflection. The call was trash; the Knights looked like trash on that PK. However, that PK doesn't happen if they don't (frank) up the call in the first place.

Even though I wanted to see the Sharks win, that was a horrifically bad call.

That was the worst call in the history of hockey. To call that a crosscheck is even an exaggeration. It was a shove and Pavelski lost his balance.

There are 10-15 worse crosschecks that happen in every single playoff game. Such a shame to decide a game 7 with that. I'm not even a knights fan and it makes me salty.

First off Little Joe banged his head and I sure hope he's ok. He's had a rough go. Now, if they call that a crosscheck then both teams should have been shorthanded all game long. Weakest call I've seen in 60 years.

It was still the call and I don't know anyone who agrees with 5. If the NHL allows video reviews of bullpoop marginal offside calls then maybe they should review majors. I like both teams and hope Pav is OK.

Take heart Vegas fans that the Avs will demolish the Sharks. Smith was playing fantastic for the Flames and the Avs still lit him up. Now they get to go against the sieve that is Martin Jones.

I agree. I thought it was a blatant, viscous cross check. Attempt to injure just like Kadri. But not to the head. Still injured the guy badly. 5 min all day
