Subban is an overrated cheap shot artist that should have never won the Norris trophy. He has never been and will never be the best defenseman in the league. You actually have to play defense to be considered that. Cough cough. Looking at Karlsson as well

Lots of Preds fans were complaining about the level of team defense on display during the playoffs - does that get better by moving out PK?

I expect that he and Turris (who also dealt with an injury during the reg season) will have better performances during the 19-20 campaign.

They will be selling low on him and like you said they aren't desperate for cap space.

If preds want to trade a dman, Josi seems like the better scenario despite him being your captain and best player.

The return would be very high, he'll be due a big raise and isn't getting any younger.

They may have to consider removing Lavy as well. It seemed like the Team stopped playing for him ,this Preds team had no swagger. But I did enjoy seeing them get bounced in the first round again

In his first 2 seasons i thought things were great. He brought some energy to the team and the building. Last year it seemed like he was all over the place. NHL cover,PK Project, Lindsey Vonn. I think all of that and being injured some this year....just wasnt the same and was very much a distraction. I say keep him around another year though.
