Its not really funny condsidering he is a repeat offender of dirty plays. When is enough enough? the NHL either wants to clean the game up, or not. I was under the assumption the NHL wanted a cleaner game, but allowing this stuff isnt changing anything.

I think the idea is to eliminate injuries caused by dirty hits. Pretty sure Harrington's ok.

The trade deadline only applies to players being eligible for the playoffs. Teams can trade non-playoff assets whenever they want.

The only time there is actually a freeze on trading is during the Christmas holidays.
