Nationwide is a tough, tough building as a visitor. It'll come back to Boston for game 7. Been a great series. Jackets play a great brand of hockey. Glad i've gotten to know them better over the past few weeks.

I think it goes 7.

I was at Nationwide for Game 4. Penalties aside, Jackets were beaten up and down the ice. Game 5 changed when Torts got a lot more aggressive with his forecheck. He literally has nothing to lose tonight by doing the same much earlier, and also taking advantage of a very loud home ice atmosphere.

Shocking that McAvoy is still in this game.

Pretty sure the blue jacket that landed the bionic elbow on Backes in game 4 only got a minor as well. Same outcome. Time in the quiet room then back out there.

Solid run and they gave it their all. Shame was rooting for Dutch and the Jackets. Guess it is the Bunch of Jerks now I am rooting for also here.

C-bus' offense pretty much dried up the last few games. Couldn't get much past Rask.
We were down 2 of our top-4 D men.
The reffing was terrible. Once the Jackets got up 2 games to 1, the way the refs called things completely changed. Boston were allowed (given free rein) to be their usual bully/thug way. Same kind of crap that happened in Toronto series.
The NHL, and DOPS, doesn't hold Boston accountable for the crap they pull.
I have no respect for most of the players on that team.

I'm all behind Carolina - hoping the same Boston BS doesn't happen to them.

Reffing was terrible both ways, man. CBJ had more PP opportunities than the Bruins did, they scored a goal from a puck out of play, goals called back etc....

Easy narrative to say that but the actions don't back it up. Refs were AWFUL for both teams

Boston took control of the series and I wouldn't say the refs were a deciding or major factor; but I have to agree there was a clear change in how games were called in the later half of both series. Most series get more out of control and I think that just the nature of officiating. It's kind of why the 5 minute major Vegas was pinned with late in a deciding game 7 was such a 'what the (frank)?' moment...

Bottom line - we don't check the refs aren't looking, punch guys in the head from behind, on his knees, then scurry away like a rat.
That's just gutless. Same thing for the NHL in not assessing any suspension for it. Enables that butt-hole to continue.

That's not why the Jackets lost the series.
It actually had nothing to do with it.
He's entertaining to the fact that he embraces the villain role.
It's a tough gig trying to wear the black hat and he does a pretty good job of it.
As for a suspension?
It was a harmless act of gamesmanship that no one even saw until the media blew it up.
Now everyone cries foul. Lol.
He's loving it.

Funny that the player it happened to didn't even think it was that bad. Wasn't the reason for the series result.

I'll have to agree with the Bruins people on this one, officiating was lanky on both side,

Boston did a textbook job boxing outthe cbj down the middle forcing them to take shots from doubtful angles. I'll argue this series was closer then the number of games/scores would suggest.

Marchand did what needed to be done, Duby also tried with that crowd stunt thing and pro Bucs approach.

Boston played like a veteran team , they kept their calm down 2-1 in the playoffs and came back.

Now as fans we must look to this off-season, it will be pivotal in terms of the future of the franchise and what Jarmo needs to do.

EDIT: ....and hey .....we will always have Tampa

Here's an interesting article on the officiating benefit Boston received in both rounds !!

That is a total waste of a read.
