Anthony Travalgia: Charlie McAvoy "dissapointed" to miss Game 1

The Bruins will be without defenseman Charlie McAvoy in Game 1 Thursday as the Bruins defenseman has been suspended for one game after a hit to the head of Blue Jackets' forward Josh Anderson in Game 6.

Accidental but still a head shot and a clean one at that.. Suspension worthy for sure...

The Bruins are still without defenseman Kevan Miller, but Sweeney would not rule Miller out for the entire series.

THIS is EXCITING Miller would be a HUGE physical impact

Seems the refs were a little gun shy to call the major after the SJ/VGK fiasco... but it would've been worthy.

Carlo has been great, and would be interesting to see him slot with Papa Z to fill that role and lead in ice time. Not sure it's wise to pull him away from Krug for too long though. Thankfully Charlie is only out one game, going to be a great series.

Going to have to overcome it. It's been next guy up all season.

Moore or Kampfer will be fine to spot in a game. Carlo will take the added minutes. I know he is not exactly close but honestly I don't think bringing in a rusty Kevan Miller should be an option unless injuries pile up.

The crew that made that call hasn't worked since.

Carlo has been steady, I'm not worried about extra minutes for him. As long as it is not Krug or Chara who sees the uptick.

There's not a guy on the Team (other than Rask) that hasn't had his moments in the playoffs, D has looked really good at times and really bad at times, forwards have coughed the puck at at really inopportune moments, as long as Tuukka stays focused like he has, they should be able to overcome all of this

Lets Go Boys !!!!!

Watch Chara around Dougie, I do believe there were things said outside of the locker room that pissed off Big Z, kid came in as a rookie and just expected to be given ice time and special treatment, Look at Z's career and tell me what you would think of a guy coming into YOUR organization with that attitude.
Forwards have to finish every check on him. Can't argue his effectiveness on the offensive side of the Blue Line

Hamilton is a female dog. Chicken poop is afraid to defend Ovechkin.

he definitely doesnt play well with others, maybe his parents are too much lke the Baller dad, maybe he's straight up a douche, didnt take long for him to get traded again, and he was on the block at the deadline. Just a shame bruins did so little with those draft pics.
