Actually it was 2-2 and Landeskog was called for offside with his foot on the blue line... Shots are close too, Sharks just look desperate

Say the NHL gave the sharks a 2 minute PP, instead of a 5. They scored in the first 10 seconds of the power play. They'd only be down 2 goals with 9 minutes to play. In game 2, they scored 3 goalies in the final 6 minutes...

Good round by the avs. Played well and very fast. Can't say i'm a fan of Kerfoot - guy had so many opportunities and either missed the net or shot into the crest of Jones. Makar and Girard are going to be superstars in no time.

Appreciate the words. If you guys had to be the ones to take out the Avs you temporarily have me on board. Win one for Jumbo Joe. Guy deserves it to say the least.

One can only hope Girard and Makar turn out anything even close to Karl and Burns. I guess if the Avs are to go out, it might as well be to a team with 2 if not 3 Norris caliber D men. GL.

Even assuming this was the correct call it had absolutely nothing to do with the goal. And this is my biggest issue with the replay system. The linesman didn't call it off sides.

Its a poopty call but the rule doesn't specify being active in the play. By the letter of the law (so to speak) it was the right call, complete garbage but technically right. I was cheering for you guys but it seemed to deflate your team... F'n Sharks.... Lets go Blues!

Completely agree, I just posted this on the main board:

Offside should not be reviewable anyway. It's a judgement call by the linesmen during the game. If it takes them several minutes to try and find a freeze frame with a skate 1mm across the line, that goes against what the rule was supposed to be in the first place. Once the linesman makes the original call of it being offside or not, continue the game.
