Karine Hains: The Habs' Week Marc Bergevin is still hard at work, this week he made a depth signing for the blue line...

Sharks or Avs tonight?

I would say Sharks, but not that confident in my pick.

Fidopro thinks he's a bust and we should trade him.

The all time mark is shared by Justin Papineau and Jason Dawes... obviously no guarantee of any success with one great OHL playoff run... but I don't think he'll be a bust and I certainly don't think they should be trading him

2nd place is that McDavid guy with 49 points

Yeah, no garantee but based on what can we say he's overrated? Based on nothing.

A rebuilding team should not be looking to trade their best prospects.

Home game, the captain is back and I think they have more depth and experience than the Avs. They should have this. Should being the key word.

et voilà.

everybody went wow last week when he scored a goal on a spinorama.
first it was a junior dman. 2nd it wasn't a dman at all! it was a forward playing d on the pp.
so let's hope he does well, but I'l wait and see. and yes, his trade value may never be higher than now. time will tell.

Thought I'd give you more ammo on your crusade lol!!

Who knows, the kid could turn out to be Justin Papineau or he could become more like Matt Barzal... like you said, time will tell but there's no denying the success he's having now and that's definitely a positive

Why would they ever consider trading him? They just got him IN a trade. They need someone like him, or like he will be in a year or two. He made that move against a junior player. Guess what? He's also a junior player. No reason to trade this kid. None.

This should be directed at Fido lol!!

I completely agree, he's one of the best Junior players in the country and unless the return is ridiculously in the Habs favor, he won't be going anywhere for quite some time

Habs should try and swing a deal with Philly for Ratcliffe, he and Suzuki have been magical together

Teams normally don't trade prospects with upside just for fun.

Well I'm sure the return wouldn't be "fun", of course you would need to give up something of value!
