"Lots of teams were after him."
Then why can't you spell his name right Bruce?! |

Come on Frenchy, cut Bruce some slack. It's gotta be tough to see what you're typing when you have your head so firmly planted up Eugene Melnyk's ass. |

OUCH
lol
...never heard of this guy. Lets hope this isn't a preview of how our drafting will suddenly go. Don't need any more "Brian Lee" moments.

I've honestly never been really worried about the Sens drafting, at least not in the last few years. it's pretty much the only thing this management and ownership group aren't (frank)ING AWFUL at. |

To be fair, I doubt anyone has heard of 95% of players in the SHL

Speaking of prospects, a guy I wouldn't mind taking a look at with one of hteir 2nd round picks is Foote.
He was fairly highly ranked at one point and seems to have dropped off. |

Whoever the next coach is better not care too much about matching up LHD on the same D-pairing, especially if they also trade Ceci.
As it stands for next season...
LHD - Chabot, Wolanin, Harpur, Borowiecki, Lajoie, Brannstrom, Alsing
RHD - DeMelo, Ceci, Jaros
Contrast this with a team like Carolina, who have a virtually ideal D-structure...
LHD - Slavin, DeHaan, Fleury, Bean
RHD - Hamilton, Faulk, Pesce, Van Riemsdyk
This is a team that understands the value of RHD depth, and despite a tight budget pays over $2M/yr to keep a quality 4th RHD on the roster (which is also more than they currently pay either of their 1A/1B goaltenders). And that's their blue line depth after trading both Noah Hanifin and Adam Fox in the past year. They're also playing in the Conference Finals, have 5 picks in the first 3 rounds of each of the coming 2 drafts, and currently have over $16M in cap space. Masterclass stuff. |
