The only value this team has known in the last decade has been derived from their first round picks so I'm not sure why there is any desire to trade it. Especially considering the unmitigated disaster that occurred the last time Edmonton traded a first round pick.

Puljujarvi is still very green in this league and his development has been mishandled from early on. I don't see Sabres fans clamoring to ditch Nylander or Avs fans eager to move Jost. Trying to trade JP at this point will bring you pennies on the dollar as his value is at it's absolute lowest. This is the definition of poor asset management.
