Trump may he a goof in real life but that does not make him a poor President.

Love him or hate him he has accomplished more in less than three years than Obama did in 8. The numbers don't lie.

Plus I love that Jackass Anderson Cooper when flipping by the channels every night.

CNN just won't let it go lol. Trump exposed their fake news programs and guess what Cooper and CNN...you lost.

Deal with it.

Well... He's doing more to bring medicare to as many people as possible. I'm sure he's going to be able to usher in some form of universal healthcare if anybody can.

He's more pro worker and union than any corporatist before him going back to Kennedy.

He's more protectionist than anyone since WW2...

He's a nationalist.

No he's not fascist. And no, I don't love him. I like the agenda he ran on. He's to the left of every national politician including Bernie. He's anti war to boot.

Trump is so far right of every national politician, he is so whacked, I wouldn't be surprised if he tired to anoint himself as supreme leader of USA.

He is a hyper-nationalist, tries to intimidate other nations with militarism, he glorifies violence and encourages racists and rednecks (his support group) to use it to force his agenda. He has a masculinity issue worse than a body builder on steroids, he leads as a cult, similar to Mussolini or Hitler. He self defines himself as the as a champion against all the evils of the world, he fires anyone that even remotely speaks against his lunacy. If he could execute people for dissent, he would.

That kap is a fascist.

I disagree. I believe he wants peace and friendly relations with countries. Of course he puts America first, which he should, he leads the USA. I firmly believe he is against racism, and it's just pro American that people are seeing.

POTUS has the highest level of support amongst minorities, such as blacks, brown Hispanics, than any Republican in the last 50 years or ever... How do you explain that, if he's racist?

Emerson poll reported a 34.5 percent approval rating among black voters, and a January Gallup poll reported a 14 percent increase in satisfaction over race relations among Americans.

“We’ve had this wild surge of new testimonials coming in the past few weeks, largely in the black community,” said Brandon Straka, founder of #WalkAway, a social media campaign for disenchanted Democrats leaving the party. “They feel taken for granted, manipulated, and lied to by Democrats. They’re sick of the fearmongering.”

https://www.blackenterpri...-higher-than-you-thought/
NBC/Wall Street Journal poll, the results show that 24% of black men approved of Trump in comparison to 6% of black women who approved of the current president. These polling results are still low compared to other ethnic groups—32% of Latino men and 25% Latino women approved of the current administration—but this trend is unique to this election.

What do these articles say? They show that anywhere between 94% and 65.5% of ethnic voters disapprove of their current president. Those are the lowest approval ratings of any of the last five presidents.

Trump’s not a unifying leader. That’s a fact. He may not be an all out racist but he’s definitely a white privileged male who’s always been nervous and suspicious of minorities (which most white American males are). Let’s face it, white Americans are terrified all the time and it permeates every aspect of their lives, from civic law to civic structure. Hell, American history has even shown that some white people aren’t white enough and must be “removed”. One just has to look at historical Irish catholic immigration to see that.

The US has real racism issues and its current president is only exasperating those deep seated issues. He’s actually taking advantage of them for personal and political gain which makes him much more dangerous than your typical American redneck racist.

I see the ultra-right is still crying about Trudeau being PM. Got a message to join a revolt against Trudeau, how pathetic are these people, they are complaining because he only has about 1/3 of the vote, like, the Conservatives has had a 50+% .

He has the highest support amongst blacks and Hispanics for any Republican. He won with just 8% black support last time around and he's getting around 15% now and rising... 1. What do you think that portends, and 2. do you think blacks and browns are so feckless they would support a racist or someone that you say is taking advantage of "white" privilege? 3. Do you differentiate between whites and jews?

Also, you are making the point that whites shouldn't be nervous around minorities? 4. Shouldn't they be, at least until they know the individual...? 5. Shouldn't anybody be a bit nervous or suspicious around strangers, regardless of race? 6. How can you have any "unifying" leader? Isn't some dissent and divergent opinion a good thing?

The conservatives are a mess right now. If they could pick a half decent leader they'd win in a landslide but are incapable of doing it. Social conservatism has infected the party like a cancer and it's going to affect them for years to come, allowing Trudeau and the Liberals to win by default. The other federal parties are no better, complete mess. Absolutely pisses me off that Canadian politics is in the state it's in at this particular moment. Weak leadership everywhere.

1. It doesn't portend to anything. Going from 8% to 15% is still incredibly low. That means 85% of the populace (at best) does not approve. In political terms that's ugly numbers no matter how you spin it. In reference Bush Jr, a republican, traditionally had 16% of the black vote...

2. I can't speak for American minorities but the numbers don't lie. The vast majority of minority voters do not support their current president.

3. What?

4. Being cautious of strangers is one thing but purposely separating yourself culturally because of prejudice is another.

5. See #4 above.

6. Yes, you can have a leader who's "unifying". Traditionally, American have always unified when given a common cause. Now, under this president, it's different. Divergent opinion is never bad, but that's not happening now. Never has the US been so partisan, even under Obama. The split in approval rating numbers suggests that.

What I can prove beyond doubt is that under current US federal laws, Donald Trump would be guilty of using discriminatory language that would label him a racist. Walks and talks like a duck so chances are he's a duck.

Was this what you hoped to achieve by starting this thread? I like politics and bantering back and forth, but normally both parties need to have open minds.

Conversing with Fox news can be entertaining but also extremely frustrating.

I know it's early on the west coast but i'll go grab some popcorn and be right back, carry on with the good fight.
