Last year the PK improvement pretty much coincides with Carter Hart coming to the team doesn't it? First game in mid December. (12/18)
Either way, just get the PK in the top half.

There were some big missteps. No disputing that. But hiring Keenan, acquiring Craven just as Darryl Sittler's career was about to go downhill (although not handled well) and the Froese for Samuelsson trade were all important factors in the two runs to the Cup Finals. |

Keenan was great hire. Drafting hurt him. |

How fast is the Western Conference winner going to dispatch the Bruins?
5 games tops I would think. |

^ the thing about this eastern / western conf final that worries me... Bruins will sweep and be well rested. Blues/Sharks will be a long hard fought series that may tire either side. Then again, the extra time off could hurt Bruins. Blue Jackets were a little slow after the long Rest. God anyone but the Bruins please. |

Anyone plan on seeing "The Russian Five"? Showing in Philly this Friday through the 23rd. I'd like to check it out. |

I hope the WC winner dispatches the Bruins, but I have this foreboding feeling that it will be the Bruins dispatching the WC winner |

if they win that'll be the third title in a row for Boston, in the same calendar year! I've seen two championships in my 33 years of existence, its so maddening! |

I thought Clarke stint as GM was about as good as Ken Holland’s pre cap era (minus the cups). Before the cap, if the Flyers and Wings wanted a player, they made it happen. The difference between the two GM’s one jumped out early and the other stayed too long.
Edit
I’m likely misspeaking because the Wings did have a lot of home grown talent but I felt like Holland mismanaged a lot of contracts before and after the cap. |

Of the teams left, I hop the Bruins win it. I have respect for the way they play and have always liked them as a team. |

I don't hate the Bruins like some of the people here, but I'd rather a team that hasn't won win it. |

Out of the four teams left, I enjoy watching the blues because they’re young but I’m for either team coming out of the west. I feel like both the Blues and Sharks have waited long enough. It’s been a fun series so far, I can’t wait for tonight. |

I’m probably the only one who feels this way but I kind of feel like the Bruins have had an easy path. The canes look like they don’t belong and have to be the biggest fluke in the league right now. It’s hard to blame your goaltender when these losers can’t even connect a pass on the man advantage. Even the coaching decisions seem off. Doug Hamilton seem to have lacked creativity last night and Brind’Amour has Justin Faulk as an option too but he wouldn’t go to him. |

7 game series against toronto. Then played CBJ, who swept the best team in the league out the series before. Super easy path. |
