So I about threw up listening to Jonesy and Sharpie talking about that little d&$k #63. How do all these guys(former players no less) manage to overlook the dirty play of jerks like him??? Makes me sick. i'm an old geeser and wasn't raised to do anything in that manner, especially sports.

Assuming that AA gets traded on or after July 1st where does he get traded to and for what?

This. Kampf is a slightly better Hayden. Neither are required

A young cost controlled player who appears to be a pretty good anchor to center the 4th line and eat up minutes on PK. You're right. Who needs those?

1) How do you get ready for the playoffs if during the entire prep period, your team is adhere to a behavior, and then during the real season your team is thrust into games where things have vastly changed? Is it all allowed in order that the Tv ratings and casual viewers can be sduced by a hockey played with more speed?

2) If Anton Forberg made more crucial saves from the onset on Crawford's injury, he would have continued to play.

3) Not so sure Spezza isn't close to done, and if he is or isn't I bet his agent still wants $ compensation regardless.

4) Every one who gets drafted at 17 or early 18 has a lot of development.
The best case of that was that All-Star game where Dylan Larkin was the endearing presence. Despite the great upside the glowing words, he still is growing into a player as I write this, right?
A side thought, one I will think on too. When did Jonathan Toews become an true impact player. During the first playoff championship? After in the years prior to the second? By the second Cup? Before the first one.
With the onslaught of digital media, every early puck, possible early pick or every guy called generation from Jonathan Drouin to Mathews comes with hype, and gets lots of rose colored glasses play by play words and it puts some many of these players on higher ground a lot earlier than most deserve.
Lots of good players in the NHL and of course many impact guys but it kinda gets crazy when players are elevated higher than the team concept they are playing in...lots of good, excellent NHL players at this time in the game, more than we appreciate.

mother freaker

a few hours after I say each game needs off ice ref in a video honeycomb,Pierre McGuire says seven hours ago...copy catter!
Bob McKenzie too!
Me, this morning:
So if the Sharks win Lord Stanley's Cup everyone will know it came with tarnish. The game has truly changed, so much faster with a crowded small ice, and the guys in stripes are humans.
At this juncture, there are different rules encompassing the various reviews.
I just think having one NHL additional off-ice referee (surrounded by a beehive of video angles and competent tech person to cue them) with the ability to add his input, might solve the debates more efficiently.
Let that extra zebra caution the officiating crew that generously decided to even out the Vegas blow-out simply to give the Sharks a chance to score and make then game closer, add, "You might have missed the hand pass" and to just help review the rules on the spot, when the net comes off, postioning that determines goalie interference, when a hockey attacker is simply attacking the net, etc.
I don't want that guy in the building to be the end all to the process, just the one who can LOOK at all the videos and advise and quicken up the decisions to keep action moving.

If you are trading Anisimov, you sure want back a guy who makes only $250,000 less?

That's a bet I'd take. I think SJ will beat them.

2-12

That’s the collective record of teams who have swept a round this year in the following round.

You have no idea about anything to do with the Blackhawks. Leave it at that. Now back to the park to yell at pigeons for you.
