For arguments sake, suppose Kreider could be talked into Edmonton (I’d assume that team is a no) and play the year there with McDavid, he could score 40 easily then get seriously payed as a UFA. I think that part would be less of a problem then actually agreeing on particulars in a trade.

Give them Georgy or Hajek (reluctantly) or someone else too, but no way would it need to be Kravtsov for example. That’s crazy

There is a lot of factors in Edm right now, none of which include waiting on a player at 8 when you could wait for a different player at 20. Instead, getting pieces for this year and not waste another year of McDavid has to be on the agenda for them.

Normally 8 to 20 is a big deal, but for them this particular year I think it’s very possible to get them to do.

I think Vessey wouldn't be worth much, he's another another UFA. I honestly think, which would be Toms dream scenario, is we would have to take Lucic back somehow.

I just don't think we can move up past maybe 13-15. I think with Howden you would be on the right track though player wise if it were to happen, because he is cost controlled and has a good upside

Yea but none of them were Edmonton. I listen on a daily basis to the nhl channel, and to aman they all say Edmonton is making serous moves. Even Holland says he has a now plan and future plan

Well technically any deal "could" be made, I think it comes down to how likely will it happen, and is it worth it.
