I know it looks bad, but nowadays EVERYONE jumps to conclusions right away no matter what it is. I’d say give Gase a chance, he’s extremely confident, awfully cocky aswell, which I personally like lol
The timing is definitely strange tho, oofah - Slimtj100
Too soon to call Gase an offensive minded Rex Ryan? If he gets the players to play for him like Rex did, it'll be fun times. |

Honestly, if I'm the Jets I love being in the Giants shadow. This news honestly will be old news within a day or two. Gettleman won't be off the hook that easily. - 2sticks1puck
Jets haven't won anything in 50 years! They finally get ( hopefully ) a franchise QB and can start to close the gap with the Giants. Now this?
Gretzky famously called the Devils " a Mickey Mouse organization" and he was right at the time. What can we call the Jets? |

As a Niners fan, I'm glad that at least there was a time where the franchise was run well. However, you really can't call the Giants some bastion of front office functionality. The super bowls obviously count, but can you really say on a year to year basis, they've been better than the Jets? The two years the Giants won this century, they were 9-7 both years? |

Now what? They fired the GM. That's what's freaking Jets fans out? C'mon. It's the NFL. Only a handful of these guys are that special anyway. Trust me on that. Jets' future hangs on Darnold. Simple as that.
Now, as for Hughes........ Happy to get him! Not sweating the Devils pick for one second. |

To answer your question simply: YES
Lets not even get into the fact the Giants do what Jets cannot ----- beat the Patriots when it counts! |

100%. If Darnold throws for 3 Tds and 350 yds week one, no one will even remember what happen today
They just did all of this ass backwards. Fire Rhodes McGagnen and hornswagle (w/e his name is lol) at the same time.
Gase didn’t want Leveon tho sounds like, which could be a thing. |

I think he's a guy that would be off limits to them
I'd prefer Boesner over Horvat though |

That basically would be the Lindros package. Though I guess that should be Petterson Boesner, and the 2 1s. |

ultimately though, I really want Kakko/Hughes, I want the opportunity to have a potentially elite guy on a 3 year entry level deal, not worry about protecting him in expansion draft, it's gold |
