I went to quite a few games down the stretch and wasn’t impressed by this guy a whole lot. After the season I read on Twitter that he was battling through injury. He could pan out somewhere, but not likely in the desert |

if you saw 20 Coyote games last year, that's 20 more games than James actually saw
I can't believe we have a blogger on this site for an NHL team who writes his blogs based on pouring over advanced stats, literally never watches a game. It's astounding. |

If he's an RFA, there's no harm (unless you're up against the contract limit) in tendering him a QO and, if nothing else, stashing him in the AHL where he'd probably have decent success for a pretty thin Tuscon team. If nothing else, maybe he fetches you a 6th/7th mid season. |

I find it constantly amusing that because I don't have the same opinions as you do (probably the reason I have this job) it must mean I don't watch the games.
It's just such a stupid thing to say, if I didn't enjoy watching hockey, if I wasn't a crazy hockey fan, why would I do this? There's easier ways to make money.
See you might think because you don't agree with what I say, that I'm an idiot, but I can assure you this street goes both ways. Only difference is that I'm the one paid to be here. |

Yeah that makes sense. Although, you do have to give him a raise and since he's been in the league two years, he probably gets an automatic one-way deal. Contract limit matters too. I figure any random ELC is better anyways. |

His last contract was $625K. I believe his QO increase would be 15%, which would be $776K One-way vs. two-way only counts in matters of what he gets paid, he can still be assigned to the AHL, he just gets paid his real-life NHL dollars. That may be cheaper than some ELCs. |

Now you are calling the coyotes one of the worst teams in the NHL? I thought they had the best defensive group in the league plus above average forward group. How do you reason your constant flip flopping? |

The Coyotes had a good team going into the season , then they were destroyed by injury and skated a pretty rough group for most of the season. They almost made the playoffs due to goaltending. |

Well I honestly can't believe that their are people who complain about hockey blogs. Just like I can't believe there are people who want to complain about the content of a hockey blogs comment section. |

I think it's a reasonable expectation for someone who blogs about a team regularly to actually watch their games |
