With a bar inside too? That's good living.

I think that was the rich people option.

We had one of those when I was a kid. The radio didn't work, but there was a turntable.
I have often wished my parents still had it. I would love to get one, restore it and put in a modern unit and speakers. That would be the tits.

- Tonybere

I actually have one sitting in my house. Pretty much the same condition as yours. I myself would want to restore it, but right now it's not on the priority list. I'm not sure if I mentioned it in here, but the good and the bad about buying your childhood home is that everything is the same as it was when you were growing up. There's about 30 things I would need to do before I restored that unit.

My real dream though is getting one of those 60s jukeboxes. I know they make more modern ones that use MP3s, but I want an authentic one, 45s and all.

Just canceled my subscription.

Haha!

Sirius really has gotten terrible. I used to have XM before the "merger" (hostile takeover), and they played a TON of stuff, deep tracks, etc. Now? Forget it. They play the same songs every single day, it's awful. If it weren't for a few of the talk radio shows, I'd have cancelled a long time ago.

Thank you to the entire
@SanJoseSharks

organization, fans, and especially teammates. It was a great run that ended too early. But lots of great memories where created. The entire Bay Area has been nothing but classy and respectful to me and my family. Thank you.

they've had a lot of kicks at the can in the post season, lots of 100 point seasons since the first lockout, lots of playoff series wins, it just all seems to be ending for them now

A lot like the rangers, Rangers west they are. They have pieces still tho, they could make deep runs still

They could, but like Rangers west, this sot of reminds me of the 15 team. At that time, we thought we had several more good years left, when it fact it was almost sunset on our window. I think in retrospect, we should have seen it coming, just like in retrospect we will see that this is the beginning of the end to them. Their core is a lot older than our core was and I'd argue their cap crunch is worse.

I think that was the silver lining to our window closing. Our teams were never quite good enough to get it done. And we moved some guys out/shifted some pieces. But, we were never really in lasting cap hell.
It has made the rebuild much easier than it could have been.

Since the pre cap lockout, this org has done pretty much everything right except winning the cup maybe a couple of bad signings, but nothing that really crippled them

Worth mentioning today is the 25th anniversary of the Messeir hat trick guarentee game. I can still teleport in my mind to that night. The total letdown feeling of another great Ranger season ending in a collapse. And then it all changed with that Kovalev goal late in the 2nd. Turned the momentum completely around.

Mess gets all the headlines but even he says Mike Richter was the MVP that game, he held them together so they could regroup and comeback after being down 2-0. Great times.

Wow!
Time has flown! Claude Lemieux scored that goal to make it 2-0 and we all thought the game was over. I was getting myself ready for all the abuse from my Devils friends when EVERYTHING changed. Can't believe 25 years!
Hopefully our current Lemieux can give us some clutch playoff goals like his Dad.

On Panarin...

As for Artemi, a source put it best....."this is the Rangers to lose..." However, keep your eye on the Penguins if they can move out space...Also the Islanders and Panthers...

Sooooo were not getting him

What about

Kakko Zib Buch
Panarin Chytil Kravtsov
Kreider Strome Lemeuix

That would create matchup nightmares

One thing I like Kakko is a winner. Even if he might not be the best choice at 2.

Kaapo Kakko goes for the career U18 WJC, U20 WJC, and Worlds treble tomorrow. He only turned 18 three months ago.

Why? What was the point in including this? You're better than this, man.

Much like Lias, he's got the competitive gene I like. Maybe his intensity and propensity to be a winner will gel with Lias and kick start his game.

Knight is the best choice at 2
