Yeah, he was a good veteran for the Rocket this season...it's good to have him back, with Poehling, Suzuki, Brook, Primeau, etc. becoming pros next season.

it's hard to say right now...they will add a few players for sure, but we already know a few junior players are going to make the jump.

I know a lot of people see Poehling and Suzuki play in the NHL next season, but I don't think that would be wise. Maybe for Poehling, since he's a bigger guy and seems more NHL ready physically...but still, I think both would benefit from bigger roles with the Rocket.

Add to that Teasdale, Brook on defense, Primeau in goal (who could see some ECHL action since playing second fiddle in the AHL isn't really great for development)

I thought they would give a contract to at least one of Walford or Tyszka, but it seems they will be both let go, as they have up to June 1st to sign them or else Habs lose their rights.

As for Romanov, he's staying at least another season in the KHL. I think we could see a sort of Emelin situation with him. He won't cross over until he feels he has a legit chance of making it to the NHL. He's making more money in the KHL that he would do playing in the AHL on a two-way contract.

Jacob Oloffson is signed with Timra in the SHL until 2021. He's nowhere near ready to make the jump and the Swedish Elite League isn't a bad league to develop, even if young players tend to warm the bench a bit.

Regarding Finns Joni Ikonen (Kalpa) and Jesse Ylonen (Lahti), they are both signed until 2020 with their respective teams in Finland. Ikonen almost missed an entire season after a knee surgery. I think we could both see them with the Rocket in 2020-21

Est-ce qu'il reviendra à 100%? Un risque à prendre pour l'équipe qui lui fera une offre.
