Sounds like a Coaching- I MEAN ownership problem to me. I took my dog in off the street and he does none of those things. He got into the trash once 3 years ago and that never happened again. He’s not a humper. He’s fully potty trained and when I go out to the bars and sleep over at someone else’s place he holds it for 15 hours with no accidents. He only chews on his toys. He doesn’t beg. He doesn’t fuss. He always brings his A game, he’s reliable, he supports me when I’ve got the puck, and he never fails to get pucks in deep

Then I'd love to play with your dog for a good 30-45 minutes before I return him to you.

You are by far the most verbose poster I’ve experienced, so this trade idea is par for the course.

Looking forward to your next hot take on why the Panthers would want Hornqvist, why teams with two top 4’s would want Maatta, Bobby Ryan’s footspeed etc

Pittsburgh's pretty close to both Ohio and West Virginia, and you want people to stop "experiencing" each other?

He would love that. His name is Kilo. He does tricks. Likes to play fetch. I found him on the street and when I found his owner they didn’t want him

Well again, I love dogs. I just don't have the time/patience in my life right now to own one.

Sid doesn't want to play with Phil and stylistically they don't match up. Crosby does best with guys who can win puck battles and go to the net. Kessel doesn't do those things.

If Crosby thought it was a good idea for them to play together, they would do it.

- MacPatty

Oh so he’s told you that he doesn’t want to play with Phil? Damn I didn’t know you guys were good friends.

Your choice to use the word "verbose" frightens me and I will respond with threats of violence.

I appreciate how concise that threat was.

Wow. Look how short and sweet that was! Keep it up!

Also, the difference between you and I is I can actually admit when I’ve said something wrong or dumb. You just write a larger response further damning yourself.

When you're like, "Man, I could really go for some wings tonight."

And then all day long, you're pumped for wings, and you get home, and your wife is like, "I'm not really feeling wings," and you feel the need for immediate vengeance.

And then she's all, "Let's go our and do Brazilian Steakhouse instead," and you're all sunshine and bunnies (manly ones).

I have zero qualms with my posts. Just because some guy who is often wrong (Bobby Ryan with the footspeed, saying Oleksiak outscored Petts when he didn’t) is going to constantly insult me (even though you didn’t on CapFriendly because you clearly just take issue with me here) doesn’t mean I’m going to change the way I go about my posts. Really, all it does is make me want to point out your dumb posts that much more. So here I’ll be, and here you’ll be. I’ll ask questions asking for reasoning and you’ll keep responding with “Wow! Keep it up!” And “Lol”

Rino AKA Mr.Gardoki,

If Nelson is worth 6x6 without testing FA why do you think Nyquist will take 5.5 x 4 ? I’m not saying you’re wrong, just curious

If I stated 4 years that was a click error. He will get five to six years. I think he will get 5.5 to 6 and I could see him taking a little less to play for a contender. Nelson vs. Gus is simply age. Gus is turning 30 soon and that can affect price.

However, I never discount a team willing to overpay which is entirely possible.

That makes more sense.

I recall a post on the players tribune said the new sentiment around the league is that the middle guys aren’t taking pay cuts anymore - that’s basically reserved for hometown discounts and the elite Superstars like Sid and McDavid. The guys who aren’t getting full NMCs had a different sentiment, something along the lines of (cliche) “It’s a business. The agents really do handle most of that stuff. Without the full NMC the team will act in their own best interest so that’s what players do.” Something along those lines. I don’t see guys like Kane, Gus, Hayes etc taking discounts until their mid 30’s if they’re looking for that shot at glory

The BobFather now also reporting on Leafs Lunch Radio that a Kessel trade is when, not if. Kessel-JJ for Zucker-Rask wasn’t the entire deal but it was the backbone for it

Want to know why Trotz's teams are successful? Everyone buys in

Right now the Pens have 3 players that refuse to buy in - Kessel and Letang (and sometimes Malkin)

Guys like that are toxic. Regardless of talent, you can't have guys on the team that refuse to be coached. It undermines everything everyone else is doing. It's why less talented teams always find a way to beat the Penguins

You can get away with having 1 guy like that, because the team can peer pressure that 1 player or the coach can send a message by sitting him, that guy is going to be Malkin, he stays. You can't have 3.... It doesn't work

Trump is a genius. He did trick half the country into voting for him. I may not like him but the dude is smart, even if he acts like an idiot on the surface.

I think there’s a difference between wiles and intelligence. Intelligence is understanding the effects of tariffs on the domestic economy. Wiles is having a bunch of rubes eating out of your hand when you know full well you’re gonna betray them later.

I think the same thing about AOC. Economically illiterate, but (frank) does she know how to play the game.
