I know reading comprehension is hard for Rangers fans, so I'll repeat--when talking about Marner--Ghost is going to be the starting point for trade discussions which would probably include Ratcliffe, Frost, Konecny, plus draft picks.

Ok I understand that you report what you “hear” but Kessel and Johnson (roughly $10 million) for Zucker and a Dman gives them cap space? Which Dman? Brodin makes 4.1, Pateryn makes 2.25. Add either of those played to Zuckers 5.5 and I’m not sure how you come up with cap space for Subban.

Leafs interested in Ghost? Not sure how he fits in their plans. He is a LD and the leafs already have Rielly, Muzzin, Dermott and Rosen who all play the left side. Plus they are letting Gardiner walk who is a very similar style Dman because they need more grit and defence on the right side.

But if that’s what your “sources” are saying what do I know.

When you post something that doesn’t make a tonne of sense, maybe add something like “I don’t understand how this makes sense or how this fits into their budget or how this fills their needs but this is what I am hearing”. Two years ago Ghost had his most productive year playing the right side with Provorov....now I am not advocating a Flyers/Leafs trade, but lets not make it sound like the Leafs have no use for him.

Gostisbehere lacks the size and defensive acumen that the Leafs on their back end. Myers or Gudas would be a better fit for the Leafs
