I am guessing we are unloading some LD's being that we have about 5-6 of them already. Scandella is on top of the list, but there is also Hundwick, McCabe, Pilut and obviously Dahlin unless he is moving over to the right side. Lots of changes needed if Gardner is coming here.

Added to your point with Dahlens’ deal on the horizon - 8 x 10 and so and Skinner perhaps being resigned @ 8x8 or so how are they going to afford Jake @ 7 or so ??

Its not hard. Each year players contracts expire, and the cap increases.

I see Gardiner going south. Someplace where the hockey lights don't shine as bright as TO. He has had it with having every move analyzed. To go to the rink for practice or games and then go home to peace and quiet must sound appealing to him at this stage of his career. To do it in a location that you can walk the beach on your days off....Heck I'm convinced. I'm moving mysef

Gardiner is made for a Southern market with little exposure. Does anyone think on Arizona anyone would know of any mistakes he made? He needs to get away from that.

We need a team looking to get to the cap floor, and it would take at least our second 1st round pick to do it. But it would be worth it.

No doubt Habs will talk to Eberle but I think he will want too much term, Bergy shouldn't go over 4 years and that probably won't get it done...

Considering he was out with back issues, and wasnt having the best year. I would think his trade value would be low, and not many contenders would've had interest in him either at that point.
