Red Wings drafted Evgeni Svechnikov over Travis Konecny, Brock Boeser, Jack Roslovic, Ilya Samsonov, Travis Dermott and Sebastian Aho. 🤮

Hayes might be a sign and trade. Hearing this from my sources, the legit ones. More to come when I'm done travelling.

Hunger is used interchangeably with desperation. So whoever wins has momentum. Whoever loses automatically becomes more desperate and hungry. It's pretty deep stuff.

The next few days will determine whether Hayes signs in Philly or is a sign and trade. The longer it goes the more likely he signs with someone else and gets traded for Malkin.

Oh, please. That silly game.

It was pretty much consensus that year it was supposed to be Nico or Nolan, with everyone else far below. The Flyers were going to take whomever wasn’t grabbed by Jersey.

Doesn’t always turn out that way in drafts. Often the best players were not the top picks.
