If its skinner or duchene give me skinner

Isles NEED a guy like him. (If they cant get panarin)

Easily good for 25-30 goals a season, replaces eberle (and is better)

Im not worried about the 3C as of yet. Fix the top 6 sign lee and skinner or panarin and lehner and im happy

As always gfeat work

It's a joke someone might give Skinner 9 million. Horrible.

I’ll take Duchene thank you. Good pp guy, awesome FO guy which the Isles could use. Nothing wrong with being strong down the middle.

Nice job Ben.

NY is a good place for Skinner who likes to be in the spotlight. I doubt he will sign in a small market again.

Skinner is another great option for sure, we all understand the over payment to UFA's but thats the risk u take. Bc of the age factor on Panarin/Duchene/Skinner all are worth that possible risk.

Agreed that a top-six winger should be the priority versus a C. Thanks for reading!

His concussion history scares me away.

Duchene would be ideal. He would take the heat off Barzal and allow him to develop and mature.

Skinner is a sniper for sure, but he gets hurt a often and is not exactly a fantastic 2 way player. I wouldn't want to give him 7.5 mill a year nevermind 9 mill... hard pass.

thanks for the article Ben.

Any shot you look at some possible trade Targets?

Nice work with the write up Ben! I wonder if the Isles will need to go the trade route to improve the top 6? I think the Isles can be players for Panarin but some of these players like Duchene and Skinner seem out of reach.

I think that stems from the concussion he had that one year. You are always a risk for injury if you get a concussion. That being said I don’t see him being another vaske so I will take the chance

Lou’s focus should be on players that never get injured.

In fairness, any player in any sport can get injured.

With the 23rd overall pick in the 2019 NHL draft, the New York Islanders select:

True but concussions are different. Your chances of receiving multiple ones through out your career is high. Unfortunately I know that to well as I had a severe concussions which forced me to stop playing. Now any touch to the back of my head gets me dizzy.

It's a fair point but even if you go back and look at his entire career, he's only missed truly significant time in one season. His sophomore year.
