Agreed Todd, 1 of Panik/Donskoi could really help, especially if we also trade Bennett on top of Frolik. I think Talbot could be a good addition as well.

I hope we deal Brodie to Toronto for Johnsson. Or in a bigger package for Kadri. Stone needs to go as well, and Frolik. We move those 3 out and get lower priced players, we'll be in great shape to repeat as PD champs, and do better in the playoffs next year! GFG!

Your price tag of the #26 is a tad high, maybe Stone & the 26th for Georgiev would be pretty appealing. You guys have nothing but money & can just buyout Stone if you dont want to keep him & flip him at the TDL.

Why a bigger package for Kadri? Blech.

Granted, the Flames took a huge step forward 2018/19.....not going to take the next step without some bold decisions from Flames leadership. Donskoi, Panik and Talbot not bold....CBJ has moucho gusto.

Bennett has real value & Frolik more of a TDL player. Offseason most teams don’t focus on role players til after players are resigned & the UFA’s sign.

On Johnsson the Leafs cannot take on salary til other big dominos fall.

Most teams trying to unload cap in a buyers market are up against it.

They were the second best team in the league last year. There's not another step to take. All they needed to do was play their best hockey and they'd be fine.

The playoffs are a crap shoot and smart GMs don't overreact.

I'm with you on this. I don't see the need to overreact. They were the second best team in the regular season, which still goes a long way especially considering they missed the playoffs the season prior.
