Carol Schram: Blues-Bruins Game 7 brings back memories from the Canucks' 2011 Final The Stanley Cup Final between the Boston Bruins and St. Louis Blues is going to Game 7—the first time we've seen one since the Vancouver Canucks hosted the Bruins in 2011.

If we want to improve our top 6 scoring or D via trade, how else would you propose to do it without including picks? Something has to give, Sven, Goldobin etc will not get you a quality player in return.

Would have to be something similar to the rumoured Virtanen + Tanev for Zucker offer

On Loui, this is a good thing.

"Benning also agreed perhaps a change of scenery could do some good."

Don't know. If you want a quality player it's going to cost. Our scraps won't do it.

I’m far from a homer but I think a Virtanen + Tanev package isn’t really scraps

Virtanen’s a cost controlled 10-15 goal speedy physical 3rd liner

Tanev’s an injury prone, but steady 2nd pairing defensive dman, also at a reasonable cap number

That won’t fetch you a 1st liner or top pairing dman, but offering that for a Zucker level player is reasonable

If he’s whining about his ice time now, I can’t imagine the sulking he’d do while having to ride the buses in the AHL

Could get him to go to the SHL/KHL though

I think you have to add a 2020 second round pick

i would hate to include Jake, it makes us older, he still hasn't reached his full potential, Zucker probably has. Tanev meh.

yup

>plays with considerable energy.. is a threat down the right side when he puts his shoulder down to attack wide and then drive the net, Draftin Europe 2018

>He is at the top of the food chain, a t-rex, eats everything and thinks everything is under him, Robert Ohlsson (Coach) 2018

>slick stickhandler … dangerous in the offensive end … plays a fast game … works hard every shift … deadly on the power play, ISS Hockey 2017

If Jake was truly a 20-25 goal guy there would be no reason to trade him for Zucker. He is a 15 goal meathead and judging by his latest photo looks like he swallowed a house.

@ Nucker from previous blog. Benning is lying through his teeth in regards to tryamkin. He knows why he left and he wasn’t caught off guard. Perhaps he is smarter than we think

He’s as fast as he’s going to get. Likely as physical as he’s going to get. And he won’t be getting any smarter. So what’s his “full potential”? Narrative weaponize sweetener asset management hockey trade 200 foot guy.
