Duchene is not a "super-star" as you say. He's a good second-line center who is poised to make $10+ with a 75 point ceiling. He'd be more at home as a 60 point 2nd line center

Domi had more points than Duchene this season. Or are you putting that deal in the rear view already. Why do players perform better when they leave Arizona? Too much sun?? Domi, Strome... who's next? Chayka seems to be tossing some good talent overboard

I don’t know how Duchene can help them. Yotes are already super awesome and if not for a sprinkle of bad luck, would be totally in the playoffs. Heck they have a super goalie and the leagues best backup goalie, so they have the best goaltending. They have the best defense too. Also half of the forwards could be amazing forwards if they were just better and the dumb coach wasn’t so dumb. The GM is so underrated and he is so smart that dumb people who think he is dumb are wrong, that is a fact. Also the cup is only won by luck, so the yotes just need luck, not Duchene. Go luck! Go yotes!

Duchene's career high is 70 points...but it's possible that Schmaltz becomes a 90+ point player. Yup. Solid analysis Tanner.

Their reported new owner would be the richest owner in the entire NHL, and is a noted real estate developer. The current owner is the poorest owner in the NHL.

I predict that just before July 1st a ton of announcements come out about the new owner and a new building, and then stars start flocking to AZ for the warm winters.

Coyotes don't need Duchene. They have The Great Galchenyuk.

Last week I thought you said Stepan, Galchenyuk, Hjalmarsson were excellent players. Now suddenly it's just Duchene-OEL-Raanta plus a bunch of support players. Make up your mind.

Also imagine if the millennial GM didn't give away Domi and Strome. Then sign Duchene. Now you have Duchene-Domi-Keller-Strome...actually looking like some nice pieces in the top 6. But Galchenyuk and Schmaltz are awesome too. And Stepan.

I LOVE Domi...but galchenyuk is better than him. Domi has unbelievable puck luck to start the year, with a ridiculous shooting percentage. Galchenyuk started the year injured.

Mark my words, both will have good years next year but Galchenyuk will be better. He is exactly what the coyotes need...a talented sniper. We had too many feisty playmakers (Domi, Keller, Hinostroza, Garland, Merkley) in the system, so it was .. and is ... a good trade.
