he's no genius. don't give him too much credit. he just finally hit on a get rich quick scheme that worked.

Can you possibly come up with a more subjective and random way to analyze the game of hockey? You just invent some random factors with some random scoring system. This is totally meaningless. You also seem to move the goalposts on a daily basis. One day it comes down to goaltending and special teams. Then you introduce 4 new factors - skill, momentum, hunger, blah blah. And if all of that is tied then it comes down to luck. Now 11 new factors, including nonsense like the Fan Factor, and whether the teams are Below or Above Expectations.

Honestly, do you really think the Blues have an advantage because the players will be contemplating about the standings at Christmas and where they are today? So in a 50-50 board battle or during a key faceoff this is going to help make a difference?

And despite all of these 11 factors you fail to mention luck. Sorry. But in a Game 7 between two fairly evenly matched teams it may come down to which team gets a fortunate bounce...a deflection, a goal post, a broken stick, a bad line change. That's likely what it comes down to. Bounces. And goaltending. Either goalie has an off night and it's over.

But sure. I'll be watching for how the Bruins have the "Last Game Carry Over" effect worth +2 which is offset by the "Style Versus Opponent" that nets the Blues a +1. Surprised the folks at Hockey Night in Canada haven't invited you to shed more insight during their telecast. Then let you cut away in the 3rd period to get ready to go on the ice.
