5.5 a year great deal for both sides.. this is the term and money Nelson should have signed for as well |

Good signing by the Isles. 5.5 million won't burn you in the coming years. Low risk, porentially nice rewards. Especially if Eberle can get uo to 60-70 point range.
Fair contract IMO. |

This is a surprise and a decent contract. Hopefully Lou still has a big move for the top 6. |

11.5 comitted in the past 2 weeks to a couple of 40 point players who will make that until their mid 30's.
Lou overpays supporting guys way too much. |

Low risk? 5.5 million per for a 37 point forward until he's 34? |

I just find it funny Leaf fans get trolled over NYlander's deal and these deals by Lou are supposed to be great. |

Fair deal. Surprising.
I'm sensing Lee is a goner, and I'm ok with that especially if hes looking for 6-7 year term. Guy was a complete no show in the playoffs. |

Yes we know, you post it 5x a day when not a single person even mentions Nylander. Nobody cares and I don't think I've seen a single Islander fan say a word about Lil Willie. You have a serious inferiority complex and I feel terribly for you, it's so obvious. |

He had a lot of points 2 years ago, Trotz asked him to play more d so it affected his scoring. If he bounces back to 50 60 points it's a fair deal and he plays very well with barzal |

Its a manageable contract that wont hinder team if production doesnt meet the salary. Good deal |

You can try better I think, u want a do over??
Look around the league and see what the avg salaries are becoming to players signing big paydays and team are not really winning with. |

Because of this year? I refuse to believe teams without stars making massive paydays can't win.
Pay your top stars. Do not overpay supporting guys. Lou does not get it.
Notice the 2 deals Leafs want to shed? Marleau and Zaitsev, overpaid supporting guys signed by Lou. |

Manageable contracts are easier to move & buyout if needed, plus other "few" contracts that you speak of are in both situations and close to expiring.
Lets be honest, NOT even trying to take shots but,
Isles have cap space and made it further that what most have expected, shows that coaching is/was the missing piece, those them FACTS |

Give me a break stop acting like Eberle averages 37 points for his career. He is a 25 goal 50 -60 point guy. This is a good deal and he would have gotten more on the open market. Stop trying make it out to be a bad deal when everybody knows itβs a good one. You sound like a moron tbh

Yeah plus he signed those scrubs Rielly and Kadri to awful deals. I like your selective memory though, it's an impressive feat to be that stupid. |

U may disagree but Zaitsev is a good deal that TOR is poopting on, a top 4 dman locked up for $4.5m maybe coaching is the issue in TOR ??
Marleau was just 1yr to much but had to pay to lure out of SJ, bc u have cap issues his deal is horrible and also age factor, no Leaf fan complained when he helped team in his 1st year |

Good signing. Would rather Eberle at 5.5 over Skinner at $9 mln |
