Anaheim gets a defensive downgrade and also goes down in the draft but why not instead draft Dach and keep the better defenseman

I don't think this trade happens, but why not? This mock draft has had more trades than other other actual draft so why doesn't FLA then flip this draft pick to COL who seems to be very active on the trade front during this sham of a process. I was hoping to actually follow this for some sense of what might actually happen, but it's just gotten ridiculous with all the trades.

At least the Colorado gm is making trades with a purpose and they are not rebuilding. but Lindholm for Ekblad is laterally fuxing urself no reason for Anaheim to move out their best defenseman at the start of a rebuild

The Ducks GM is either way too high on Ekblad, not high enough on Lindholm or REALLY values L/R pairings.

Pulock had his coming out party last year. He didn't wow anyone with his points but he's the #1 guy on the right side until either Dobson or Wilde take that title from him.

Realistically speaking, Leddy is the best asset the Isles have to trade. Hickey or Mayfield could be had for the right (and lesser) return, but I don't suspect that would move the needle in this instance.

I'm game for a Leddy-for-Zucker swap doe....which I guess is kind of irrelevant in regards to this mock draft

Well he's certainly an appealing player. Just looking to free up space and kickstart the rebuild in a way. Swapping out Dumba for Pulock would be a way to facilitate that without a.) crippling my right-side and b.) crippling my defense as a whole.
