He is off to a good start in my opinion and not allowing JP and his agent push him around has earned a few points....hopefully he has himself a good evening in the draft

I heard the Avs wanted an current NHL top 6 forward in a trade involving Barrie.....the 1st round pick could be interesting for them as I don’t see the Nucks making the playoffs next season....potential top 10 pick

Barrie is a UFA after next season and he won’t be cheap to resign either.....that’s a lot of money to throw around

We'll see if his "not getting pushed around" is all talk or if his track record holds up. If he can get a young 3rd liner out of a Jesse trade, then that works for me. Names like Miles Wood, Jason Richardinson, Andrew Copp, Christian Fischer, maybe Jimmy Vesey and Brock McGinn would all tickle my fancy.

Didn’t Andreas Athanasiou try that last year? I don’t think it worked out to well for him but yes time will tell on that front.....if he gets some value for JP then he did his job.....for once I’m not worried about something stupid happening
