Ok Botts I will admit nice trade. |

I’m glad they traded for a guy that several people here were targeting. Very reasonable cost. There’s a lot to like about this move. |

Remember when you guys were boasting about the great Scandella trade that Buff made? Well, Scandella > this plug
There’s a reason McPhee moved him, and it’s not salary-cap related. And there’s a reason his stats are being reported as a sum of the past two years...

Basically cost us a 5th for a quality Dman. Good move. Who’s getting moved out? Scandella, Bogo?

Taylor Hall a second line center? That will take 3 years for Eichel to get to his level. |

Yeah so Risto is not getting former MVP Taylor Hall (who is a winger lol) in a trade. Or Coots, who has back to back 70 pt seasons. Stop with this nonesense |

So sorry, you’re correct
Please remind me when was the last time Toronto won a playoff series? |

Great trade for the Sabres, well done.
Let's talk about the forwards listed as targets in a Risto trade though... I want to say laughable but embarrassing is more appropriate. |

IMO Ehlers is a realistic target
But Couturier is a pipe dream. So is Hall, and I doubt BUF/Toronto make a deal |

Hahahaha...this is playing out exactly like the Scandella trade. Talk to me in six months, when you realize this guy’s garbage too |

Uhh, Hall is a first line LW, league MVP and Couturier is a 1st line centre, you'll have to offer much more than Norristolainen.
RNH, Cirelli and Kadri are more reasonable but they are highly valuable to their teams. |
|
|
|
With Miller in, I feel like there’s less pressure for Botts to trade Risto for “whatever you can get”. He’s not trading from a position of weakness, as much anymore. This was a very nice trade from JB. |

I would say hall would be a risk for the sabres, always injured, ufa soon, not much of a team player. Doubt couturier or nuge are available. |

When are you going to get it through your head. Risto is not very good at Defense. Sure he scores points but when he is on the ice the other team scores more. people in buffalo just over value him by miles! He is a 3-4
D man that should be playing 15-18 min a night and the PP.
He is NOT worth Hall, for damn sure not worth Coots, Kadri maybe but Buffalo would have to add and I highly doubt TO would trade with us anyway. but I would love Kadri on my team.
