As a Panthers fan, I'm not conditioned to expect good things. I'll believe it when it actually happens.

No doubt, Rats. Haha.

I think it’s good to be excited and optimistic. But the reality is that there could be a home run or a swing and miss - and that goes for every team this time of year.

I’ll be at the scrimmage tomorrow. Pretty excited to see the development of tippet and Noel particularly. Also obviously a huge fan of Spencer knight so looking forward to see our new goalie in action as well. As far as breadman and bob go, I definitely want bob. Not to sure i want to hand out all
This money to panarin tho. We didn’t have any trouble scoring last year. I don’t see why we’re pushing so hard for him. Why not just re up the goal scorer you already have in Hoffman for a lot cheaper?

You also have a stud defenseman in rasmus ristolainen on the block. I would hope they would at least throw out some feelers and see what the asking price for him is.

Cool. Let us know what you see at camp! Especially interested in hearing how Noel plays, the kid is already a beast. Can't wait to see him in training camp.
I really don't think FL would go past $11M for Panarin, but who knows. Hopefully it is in line with his buddy Kucherov's contract. Re-signing Hoffman probably won't be a whole lot cheaper, if Skinner gets $9M now. I guess Bread would be worth the difference.
Risto is an offensive guy who puts up points, but struggles in his own end. FL already has plenty of that guy. And I think Buffalo is gonna want a top six forward for him, they need a 2C. LoL Garf seems to think they can get Taylor Hall or Couturier for him. I hope we look elsewhere.

Will do! Yea super excited to see Noel up close. He reminds me of a James van riemsdyk type player.

11m seems pretty steep for panarin to me as well. Especially sense he’s not a need right now for us. I’d be super excited to have him on the team but we’ll have to drop some players after this year, we will see. Hoffman is turning 30 this year so i think getting him at around 7.5m is doable. Which would be a lot cheaper than 11m. Skinner just turned 27 and is a 3 time 30 goal scorer while notching 40 goals this year as well. I don’t think hoffman can use that as leverage in contract negotiations. Given he’s a one time 30 goal scorer and he’s a getting up there in age.

I’m with you on risto, after doing some research his plus minus really scares me. His career plus minus is -143..... whoa! He has some really nice offensive numbers tho. So you were spot on my friend. Definitely not what we need. I’m still on the trade for hammer bandwagon. I think he would pair great with Matheson!

That'd be cool if they could get Hammer from 'zona for picks and a prospect or two like Malgin or Lammikko or similar. Or (if Panarin) maybe one year of Hoff gets you close to Hammer.

Rats -

Would LOVE to get Hammer. The exact style the Ctas can use.

I watched a little bit of the scrimmage on the FB livestream this morning. From what I saw...Tippet is very smooth and has really good vision. Works well in tight spaces making his way to the net.

Good stuff

Now with Reimer gone we’re in prime position to make some big moves tomorrow. Looking more and more like bob and bread are coming Down this way. Probably gonna see Hoffman traded here soon for a d man.
