Leafs have $11MM in cap space and still need to sign Marner, Ceci and Kerfoot. They can demote a couple of million but looks like more needs to be moved unless Kerfoot is a trade chip to be used.

Leafs have about 16 mil in Cap space with Horton. I think Hyman and Dermot will be on IR at the start of the season as well which gives them about 3 mil cushion.

C'mon the clowns have been utterly thick for months now and still wrong about everything so not a HUGE surprise there.

Think he still had a year left on his contract, could be wrong though.

I bet we're mostly done now. Maybe add one more minimum salary contract or some such. That and sign Mitch.

Plus what we get back dropping guys so at about 13 mil roughly...

Gravel + Holl + say Goat going down = just over 2 mil saved there getting to a full roster. But that of course is everyone healthy too...

It is doable but tight thinking likely Sparks and or Goat could be moved to give us a bit of breathing room still there too

Actually from what I heard Ceci is going to arbitration. So if the evaluators are stupid and give him too much, we'll likely just walk and he can (frank) off elsewhere. If it's a workable number, then we keep him for one year and see how it goes.

In all seriousness though, I've never been all that happy with oral agreements ever since I saw Jerry Mcguire. You just can't trust those "my word is my bond" statements these days. Sad.
