I tried to read cap friendly's explanation twice and I got bored and confused both times

One can actually still play(as of now) and would be owed less than what Clarkson been paid.

Clarkson has been paid 22 mil to not play the past (including the upcoming) 4 seasons.

Okposo is only owed 8 mil.

If they move him after July first next year, he is only owed 3 million, 4 million, and 4 million. Very moveable contract at that point.
