Also, no one has brought this up in a while.

Are we actually comfortable with a Hutton/Ullmark combo for this upcoming season?

Well I wish the kid the best. Murray (frank)ed up his development. Glad he's getting a fresh start.

I am also more glad we were able to get something for him

Can't let the kid and his family off the hook. They played a big role in this.

Well, maybe Nylander didn't want to play in Buffalo? I mean you really have zero control over who drafts you, and yea, perhaps that is an arrogant outlook on this position but it's possible...

Look, maybe Nylander now wants to give 100% here in Chicago, I mean his dad played here for a few seasons so as a kid perhaps he has memories of Chicago? and maybe now he's ready to show the hockey world the type of player he is?

I mean some players that turn out to be great players just don't work well with certain teams or development programs.....

Either way, if the Hawks drafting works out as well as their trades I hope Bowman has a cap strategy, because the Hawks have several players with high potential that - if they work out - could command 6+++.....

I don’t think he ever wanted to be drafted by Buffalo.

I’m not sure but I think the old man had a chance to be traded here back in the day and he nixed it.

Alex Nylander - "(I) thought maybe I would be in the NHL sooner than I have been, but I’m looking forward to being part of the Blackhawks organization," Nylander told The Athletic's Mark Lazerus on Tuesday. "(The Blackhawks are) really good with development players. They know what they’re doing. Stuff that happened in Buffalo and Rochester is in the past."

The term "proper noun" isn't a proper noun, so I'm unsure you can

You know your boy Murray handled his development the first year, right?

That is one tainted view on Botts. Complaining about him because a player said some poop on the way out.

That's because anyone outside of Rochester is not happy in Rochester.... lol..

Rochester is like Columbus Ohio.... No good if you're used to bigger cities...

Maybe Sabers fans think winning trades is more important than winning Cups?

90% of what a goalie does, is based on the D in front of him

aside from shootouts

they will be fine

There seems to be some debate whether it was Murray or Nylander's dad who decided he should become the youngest player in the AHL out of the draft, but yes, that first year under Murray was a critical mistake. He never should have been the youngest player in the league. That set the path for a bad development curve

Maybe try a bit, an organization can only do so much. By all accounts his work ethic is terrible, will that change in Chicaga, maybe, but history tends to repeat itself.
