I'm highly anticipating watching our 2017 first round picks at camp this year.

Well there is that. Doesn't hurt to have Chuck Fletcher in the big chair. We have plenty of vets to sell him. And apparently they're shopping for vets to keep their window open as long as possible. Giroux will be 32 midseason. Once Voracek and Giroux start showing their age, that forward group is going to be a rough bunch.

Bro. It's Chuck Fletcher. I'd have to look, and even though I'm not really interested in doing so, I read some pieces that included Fletcher looking to "keep the window open as long as possible" around the draft time/around the signing of Hayes.

I’d waive Hunwick honestly.

even before yesterdays trade I liked our Defense with the additions of Montour and Miller, Now if Joker can be a top 4, I really love our D.

We are a competent #2 Center and winger away from really looking good "on paper"

Throw in all the laughy emojis you want, it's not about "missing" players. It's about asset management. You don't just let NHL players get picked up for free if they have any value.

Almost all GMs follow this. Unless you're unemployed Peter (frank)ing Chiarelli. A guy hits the waiver wire when his value is about zero in the NHL. Either his salary is too high or the 30 other teams don't have a roster spot for him. Clearly Jason has hopes that Sobotka is worth a minimum asset.
