I read a while back that RNH was one of Ralph's favorites when he coached in Edmonton and RNH was upset Ralph got fired. This is a trade that would benefit both teams and makes sense. RNH has rounded out his two way game in recent years and has always been a solid PP player. He had 40 5v5 points last year. I think he would flourish under Ralph.

I would still prefer a Winnipeg deal involving Roslovic or Ehlers.

Does Botts go for the center (RNH) or a winger (Ehlers) for Risto?

If both offers are on the table (no idea if that's the case), I would really hope he goes after the center. Mittelstadt could even play the wing if they really needed him to.

I mean if they accept a Risto and Sheary for RNH trade, I'd be 100% for it, but the Oilers fans would flip out. I don't think that's balanced value. A #4d and a bottom-6 wing for a #2C

I'm ok with either an Edmonton or Winnipeg trade but getting Roslovic or Ehlers would be nice. I truly wonder if Botts and Ralph Malph want to go into the season as Mitts at 2C and get him Johnasson and Reinhart as his wingers.
