I agree, I would hate the Johansson deal if it was like for 5 years. I would stomach it at 3 years, but at 2 years, its a great move.

Skinner is slightly overpaid, who cares though, we couldnt have let him go.

Ive become a Botts fan because of his last 3 moves (Miller trade, Johansson signing, and the unbelievable Jokiharju trade)

He is exactly what we needed. Rational, calculating, does not adhere to the pressure to spend poorly. ROR is over and done. Really, in the grand scheme of things, that deal
would have been fine had Berglund not sh*t the bed. Who would have guessed they would win the cup and we got at 31st? No one

I think he’s actually a good trade chip. A team might want him as their bottom pair. I think bogo can fetch a late rd pick too.

Very happy with Botts offseason. He needed a good draft/offseason and I think he has done really well. Good young players in pipeline. Two whales in Eichel/dahlin on the team with some really nice secondary players. Maybe we will be good again!

Stan Bowman has ALWAYS been infatuated with skill guys so he must really like the shot and offensive potential of Nylander in the Hawks top 6. Can he be a Right-Shot Left wing and be Panarin-lite with Kane? Then it would be a win win for both teams.

- EnzoD

He's spent almost all his time playing LW, but there's just no comparison to Panarin. He doesn't have that type of play making skill. He's a shooter.

The only thing that worries me, they might try him at center. At the moment with this roster, Casey is the 2nd line center.

And that really doesnt bother me if he has Johansson and Reinhart as his wingers.

I am excited for the upcoming season. They move Bogo and Scandella, I am counting down the days until the season starts.

Would you trade for an injured Bogo? At that salary? It just doesn't seem likely to me.

Yeah, I thought there might be an avenue before they signed Myers. My thought was Risto, Nylander and a 2nd
- jcragcrumple

Yes. The canucks would make that deal in a second. Who wouldn’t want the overpaid Finn, a likely 1st round bust and a second rounder for one of the best young scorers in the NHL.
The Sabres are not in cap hell yet but if/when their young players pan out, they’ll be up against it too.

Not our problem anymore

Also, they just paid Tyler Myers $6m, so let's pump the brakes on them making good decisions

I’m pretty sure Pegulaville kept saying the Blues were gonna win it all, due primarily to ROR.

Not in December. I said the blues were going to win it all in March/April. I sure as hell did not think they would mmake the playoffs in Nov/dec

Leaf Fan Twitter has been fire this summer about it.

I'll laugh through next summer too. Sounds good to me.

What if I told you you could clear space by moving just celery. Would you do it? What will you dip in ranch? What will be the sides with Wings? What will happen to all the peanut butter dips? What about all the soups. Think of the farmers. There are a lot of ramifications to moving it. So think long and hard which you prefer to move.
