Fact is that old Tan-Tan man hasn't been happy with any of the last 5-6 stanley cup champions(or even further back). Just because every team employed players that he wouldn't say were even NHL caliber players.
Yet if(big if) Those beloved Coyotes were to go on a darling run to lord's stanley cup. Old Tan-Tan man would be screaming from the highest mountains a big old "I TOLD YOU SO"

Alexander Kerfoot was one of the best defensive forwards in the NHL last season and put up a bonus 40 ish points. That's an impact equal to a first line scorer. Many people, myself included, thought he should have won the Selke.

Agree or don't, at the very least it's debatable.

The Blues did nothing and aren't as good as people think.

The Blues are one of a dozen OK teams that could have won the Cup. They are the worst champion since the 08 Ducks.

It's a nice story, but a team that went from last place to winning the Cup should make you cynical. They lead the NHL in 5v5 shooting percentage in the playoffs, and their rookie goalie - a player not even really considered a top prospect - went off on an insane run.

You thought he should have won the Selke?! Like... if they gave a Selke to a member of each team or something?? Because I know you're not inferring that he was the best 2 way forward in the entire NHL. I know you're not not. Because saying something like that would be straight up retarded. Sidenote: "Impact player" at least in my books is someone who (for a forward) pops in north of 65 points, and plays in all situations. Kerfoot is not that player. At all.
