Metallica kill em all their best album... I'm more into Megadeth myself - kaptaan
Arguably. Ride the Lightning being probably the best with MOP being the most polished and considered one of the greatest heavy metal albums of all time...deservedly so.
Megadeth has a better track record over a longer period of time but they did not release three albums in a row like metallica did with Kill em all RTL and MOP. A feat in heavy metal that very few bands have matched.

Master of puppets by far the best - SMBDragon
For the most part I agree but it is up for debate. RTL laid the groundwork for what MOP was to become. MOP was completely polished and a masterpiece IMO. Very few of those exist. RIP Cliff Burton. The band was never the same after he died.

RTL - belcherbd
I remember purchasing that album under scrutiny from al the 'pure' heavy metal guys. 'It's too heavy'...his vocals don't sound right....blah blah blah. Little did they all know it would go down as one of the greatest heavy metal albums of all time.

RTL was great. Listened the hell out of that album.
What most don't know is that mustaine wrote most of the 1st 2 albums. That's why master sounds so different.....better if you ask me.
I have to agree with you, likely the best metal record period

Mustaine's influence on Kill em All was evident but his contributions were much less on RTL...where Kirk Hammett's contributions were starting to outplay Mustaine's. RTL is where Cliff Burton introduced his music theories to the rest of the band which had massive impact. Where complex harmonies, acoustics and extended instrumentals became evident. But you are correct Mustaine's influence remains on RTL...as does Hammett's. But it was Burton that really rounded that album out IMO with his theoretical introductions. RTL was Raw where MOP was entering a more 'polished' sound. Debatable which one is better really...Many prefer the Raw nature of RTL to Puppets but really one could debate this for a week and never really get a conclusion lol.

They are both phenomenal albums. - LordHumungous
Both were good yes.
Sure master was more polished but even the writing is very different
