Good luck Homer. Guy probably made the 2nd best trade in Flyers history and gets no credit from the whining part of the fan base. Getting Timmo and Hartnell was the 2nd best trade in Flyers history for me, AND NO THE LINDROS TRADE WASN'T THE BEST. Éric Desjardins and Leclair from Montreal was number 1 for me |

Agree Ek!
Homer and his wife has done amazing things for Flyers Wives Charities since inception of non profit.
Keep the BS in house boys!

Yeah, took over the team as GM during their worst season in franchise history, and by the next year had them back in the Eastern Conference Final. Two years later, had them in the Stanley Cup Final (a place, need I remind you, where the Leafs haven't been since 1967). - bmeltzer
Yes, Holmgren did accomplish that, Bill, and he should be congratulated. However, it took Hextall being the one to help truly re-stock the Phantoms with talent, and draft better. Also, whether it was ultimately his decision or not, there were too many times he gave out contracts which tied their hands as a franchise, whether it be money, years or NMCs. |

GOOD CALL BILL! SHAMEFUL EVERYONE KNOWS BETTER THAN THE PEOPLE WHO SEE AND KNOW WHAT IS PUT INTO A JOB. YOU NEVER HEAR ANYONE CLOSE TO THE FLYERS HAVE A BAD WORD TO SAY ABOUT HOMER, BOTH IN HIS WORK ETHIC AND ABOUT HIMSELF AS A PERSON. THE FLYERS FAMILY WILL NOT BE THE SAME WITHOUT HIS DAILY FINGERPRINTS ON THE TEAM. |

Holmgren made some amazing moves when we were dealing with "dry island"...
I was so happy when he traded Carter - Richards shocked me a bit, but the return was incredible...
Bryzgalov, Macdonald... wow!
Forced to trade Bobrovsky because of Bryzgalov....
I will say he has a Flyers tatoo on his ass, not just Hexy.
Thanks for the offer Sheets and trying... in a non Cap world, he was our guy!!! |

Who cares?
Trolling Leaf fans about the times you didn't win stanley Cups. Impressive. |

Things I almost did;
1. Dated the hottest girl in high school
2. Went to Harvard
3. Played in the NHL
4. Won the lotto
Man I wish ‘almosts’ mattered in life. |

... You should be more clear that you are referring to other fans trolling Leafs fans, as opposed to "trolling Leafs fans". |

Yeah...that ECF run in 2008 and SCF run in 2010 were terrible on ice products.
Don't worry, I'm sure the Leafs will make it past the first round one day. - jmatchett383
Let's all pay tribute to one of the dirtiest players to ever lace up the skates in the NHL. And don't worry, the Flyers will soon make the playoffs and finally have an NHL caliber goalie after twenty or so years of garbage.

Nothing like a fan of a team that has never won a Stanley Cup, pointing that out.
In fact, has any major pro sports team from Buffalo ever won anything? - Aetherial
Thats great, I actually say something defending leaf fans, and then the same leaf fans come in for insult.
Jesus Christ, you wonder why the least two liked fan base are the Flyers and Leafs. Bunch of asshats. |
