it really is crazy to think how much talent they have added recently - chytil, and to a lesser extend andersson were all we had for a long stretch there. - NYRangers1124
Yea it is. I was excited by Ty Ronning last year |

Sean Day recently took a job at Chick-Fil-A but rumor has it he's having a tough time getting the "My Pleasure" response down |

It's a shame. Big, smooth skating defenseman. Would have been nice to see him put it all together. |

Ronning played in ECHL last year. Just seems like a player who'd excel in Europe |

apparently his brother getting killed, or his brother killing someone really messed him up. i think his brother may have killed a family ina dui or something.
I cant remember which of the two it was, but it happened the year after he got the exceptional status exception.
edit: his brother definitely killed someone and went to jail just dont remember how. |

I don’t get why your so against this Zib Panarin thing together. You have a strange way about yourself sometimes like on your 1,230 previous posts with line setups, those two together doesn’t give you a stiffy? - Slimtj100
Bc they’re the only 2 on the team that can carry a line regardless of who they’re playing with. I think the benefit of splitting them up and having 2 lines with a 70 point player on each outweighs having them play together and the 2nd line being 3 guys that are around 40-50 points. Zib played well even when Vesey was on his line when Kreider got hurt, he doesn’t need Panarin to make him a 70+ point center. |

He just wants to be able to tell everyone "I told you so" if Panarin and Zib get split up - TPC
No, it’s bc in my opinion it’s what I think is best for the team. Who sees the top pair D from the other team? The Zib line or the Panarin line? I can tell u who’s seeing the top pair D every single game if they’re together. |

i get your point - all lineups need balance. If we had a 2c that i could trust right now i could understand splitting them up but we dont.
since we dont, i want our best playing w/ the best |

Bingo.
Zib and Panarin with Kakko or Kravtsov could be unstoppable |

Panarin could make Zib at least 90 pts, but why would we want that |

Strome had a 50 point season playing with Tavares and played well after we acquired him. If our 2nd line is Panarin Strome Kreider and they produce 80/55/60, you wouldn’t take that from your 2nd line? The 1st line would be something along the lines of Buch/Zib/Kravtsov and let’s say they produce 50/70/50, your 2nd line is statistically better than your 1st and then it’s up to the other team who they want to stop. |

Panarin has never hit 90 points and he’s played with Kane and Dubois. Not saying it can’t happen, just saying he’s already played with some great players. He hit 77 points with Anisimov as his center. |

Everyone is stoppable. Staal and Girardi in their prime would shut down Ovechkin/Crosby/Giroux every damn day. |

Although the thought of Zib and Breadman on the same line makes me go from 6-to-midnight in my pants... I think you have to split them up to get veteran balance throughout the lineup. We have too many kids where I really dont want to see 2 full sets of "Kid Lines".... although that might be unavoidable at this point
Plus I think we should try to raise Strome's trade value for the deadline in case we are out of the playoff picture.
I would think go with.. depending who gets the revolving healthy scratch door..
Kreider - Zib - Kakko/Krav
Pana - Strome - Kakko/Krav
Lemieux/Chytil/Nam - Lias/Chytil/Howden - Buch
Lias/Lemieux/Nam - Howden/Lias/Boo - Fast
13th... Smith/Nam/Lias/Boo

They paid him 11.6 million dollars...Zib is the best center...they are playing the most minutes of the forwards, that’s a guarantee. To do that they play with each other. Just watch and enjoy the red lights lighting up on a nightly basis.
I could see them being split up on the PP, both being RH and all. They are going to have two very good PP units if they did that |
