Was Kucherov drafted knowing he had this potential or did he slip under the radar and explode?

I dont remember any hype on him or anything.

Yeah that was a big problem last year. Kucherov is a selfish player. He played more than 20 minutes, a few games over 23, including a 27 minute game, near end of season for records. There was no reason that any bolt needed to play tons of minutes as bolts wiped most teams out in regular season

Watched the worlds and Kuch played defensively like I’ve never seen him play. I guess mother Russia is more important than Stanley Cup.

So let’s not play for records and ONLY play for Stanley.

No at world under 18’s he scored at 3 points per game(21 in 7 games)
Point a game at U20 and 2 points a game in the Q.
Everyone knew what he was. There was selfish questions about him in junior

Kucherov at worlds skating his ass off defensively would be really nice to see in Amalie arena

He can score more goals than anyone else. Not that complicated
