Of 26 playoff games played, they won 16 of them (naturally).
In those 16 games, he allowed 25 goals on 439 shots for a stellar .943 save %.
In games 5, 6 and 7, he allowed 16 goals on 282 shots resulting in another stellar .943 save percentage...like when the series is hanging in the balance...critical games.

So, no, your representation could not be further from the truth.

They also lost game 6 when he allowed 4, you know when it was hanging in the balance. Win that game and they win the Cup, but he choked and allowed the Bruins to have a chance.

But never mind the 6 games where he allowed at least 4, 2 games of 4, 3 of 5 and one of 6, and guess what? They lost all those games. And that game 3 against Boston allowing 5 allowed the Bruins to take a 2-1 lead.

Plus he would've easily won the Conn Smythe if they won because of him.

He had catastrophic games in some of the biggest moments, and he had very good games in some of the biggest moments. He was all over the place. He was not the reason they won.
